El Niño’s club career
Torres was born in Fuenlabrada, in the Madrid region, in 1984. He came through the Atlético Madrid academy and captained the club as a teenager. Football knows him as El Niño. The move to Liverpool in 2007 opened four seasons in the Premier League, and in 2011 he signed for Chelsea.
His Chelsea years brought the trophies most people remember. He won the UEFA Champions League in 2012, the FA Cup in the same year, and the UEFA Europa League in 2013. A loan spell at AC Milan followed before he returned to Atlético Madrid, where he lifted the UEFA Europa League again in 2018. He finished his playing career at Sagan Tosu in Japan in 2019.

Football betting across our Singapore sportsbooks
